Master your inbox with Outlook!

by admin on December 20, 2009

My procedure with emails is to make a direct decision on first read:

-          Junk the sender

-          Quickly answer

-          Delete the email

-          Action to take later (it then becomes a task with an attached date)

I don’t read an email twice anymore. At the end of the reading, the inbox is empty. This method works very well when working mainly from remote device (iphone).

PS: a very useful option in outlook 2007 and 2010 (beta is here) is:

right click on mail folder \ properties \ show number of unread items.
